Negotiating my Identities as a Second Language Student and Teacher

The purpose of this article is to review studies of second language writers’ identity. It mainly about how and what second language writers choose to write about stems from who they are culturally. The findings of research studies on relationship between language and identity will be presented, including discussion on new identity formation and second language identity as a resource in writing.
